Places to see in Vilnius:
–Vilnius Old Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site
–The Gediminas’ Tower with a beautiful panoramic view of the Old Town from the hill
–Užupis – a beautiful neighbourhood of artists, intellectuals and entrepreneurs, an independent republic has to have money, power, an anthem and constitution, and above all, a free spirit.
–The Vilnius University, established in 1579, with an old library and courtyards;
–The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (The National Museum), originally constructed in the 15th century, restored in 2013;
–Lukiškės Prison, which was in use until 2019, now it‘s opened to the public and the artists, and even served as the backdrop for Stranger Things season 4;
–MO museum for modern art lovers
